The Mumbai Indian owner Nita Ambani may be disappointed by the loss of Harbhajan Singh at the 11th edition, but there are many reasons that would make smile fans the privilege. For beginners, having retained Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah for the three players, MI used the other two cards of the right match (RTM) to bring back Kieron Pollard and Kunal Pandya. These five players have been an important part of the franchise in recent years and so, Mumbai remains one of the few franchises that most of the central band has kept.

At the IPL 2016 auction two days ago, Mumbai bought two world-class pacers in Pat Cummins and Mustafizur Rahman. Here’s an in-depth analysis of Mumbai’s current squad

Strengths of Mumbai Indians 2018 Team Squad For IPL 2018

The Mumbai Indians have always been known for their quality and are only strengthening them by incorporating the beginning of the Evin Lewis from West India into their team. With two strong batting all-rounders in Hardik and Krunal, their line up will be better than most of the teams. Mumbai can also use the JP Duminy as one of the finalists after buying it at a good price of1cr. Jaspirt Bumrah will have a time and Mustafizur Rahman will form a combo of killer rhythm that will be very useful in mortality. Cummins is another bowler who has the potential to get breakthrough at any point during a match.

Weakness of Mumbai Indians 2018 Team Squad for IPL 2018

While the three-time champions have strengthened their bowling by adding more pacers, the side lacks the experience of quality spinners. In fact, the squad doesn’t have any quality spinner. While Krunal has escorted them every now and then but with no international experience under his belt, it remains to be seen whether he can prove his mettle once again with the ball. Mumbai Indians did sign Sri Lankan spinner Akila Dhananjaya, but with the side boasting of too many overseas batsmen, it’s unlikely that he will be a regular in their playing XI.

Jersey colors of Mumbai India in IPL 11

The basic color of the team is blue with silver stripes on each side of the jersey. The team colors were almost the same in 2008 and 2009, with the Idea of a major sponsor, with the exception of color colors and additional sponsors. In 2010, a new group was introduced with gold lines. In 2011, several used in 2010 are used with the champion Honda as the main sponsor. The 2011 shirt also has three golden lines that go towards the back of the shirt for the new players of the team. The manufacturer of this Adidas group was from the beginning of IPL in 2008 to 2014. In 2015, Performax, a brand of Reliance Trends, replaced Adidas as an equipment manufacturer.
